underneath the surface – typography | paper
The typographic newspaper “underneath the surface“ explores the theme of design and intuition. Two written texts are brought into contact which describe the topic of design, intuition and beauty in very different ways. The two manuscripts are typographically interdependent and reflect two main aspects of intuition: On the one hand, the fleetingness and randomness. On the other hand, the complex brain processes and vast experiences that underlie intuitive decisions.
